The Journey from “I-TO-WE”

Good morning

I am sitting on my back porch this morning overlooking the marsh as I write this to you. This is where I have spent the better part of the last three years writing my book. As I sit here in awe, I am reflecting back on all that has happened during this journey and where I find myself this morning.

This has been a very long journey filled with joy, happiness and love but also sadness, fear and pain. I have met wonderful people who have helped me so much with realizing my vision but I also lost a very dear friend during this journey that has made this morning a very bitter sweet time.

It is so ironic that the birth of my book is taking place in the month of May. I do not know why but this month has seen many events happen in my life that have been pivotal and defining moments. Some great, some bad and some very heartbreaking. I am grateful for all of these experiences for they have always helped me to gain new awareness’s and taught me many lessons.

Life is a series of defining moments and there are new and old bridges at every turn. The choices we make shape our destiny and alter the course of our lives, and others. As we listen to our inner voice, we must decide on which path to choose. Once the choice is made, we must rejoice in that decision and follow the path with belief, enthusiasm and inspiration. If it does not work out, we always know that a new bridge awaits us on the other side of the horizon.

As the sun broke the horizon this morning, I hit the submit button on the publishers website to accept the final galley for the book and the workbook. Both will be available for purchase on my website within the next few days and I will send out a notice when that happens.

What an amazing morning. It is a very surreal feeling to wake up and realize that this part of my journey is finally over. I have crossed the bridge I had been at for sometime and anxiously await the next one. As I listen to the birds chirping and marvel at the beauty of nature, my soul is at peace and a new day has begun.

The showers of April have lead to the sunshine of May.
